What exactly is an "appropriate" stretch?
Not all bodies are created equal.
Traditional passive stretches may be harmful if:
~you are hypermobile ("double jointed")
~have joint instability
~have injuries that have not fully healed.
There are alternate stretches that can be performed that are safer for certain populations. We will make sure we have a good understanding of what's happening in every joint of your body before employing any type of stretch.
